The Westerman Foundation

Once again St. Patrick Catholic School was blessed with receiving financial support from the Westerman Foundation to purchase new computers. Many educational platforms used at St. Patrick's have a digital platform. This makes the need for one-to-one computers in the classrooms a necessity. This would not be possible without the support of the Westerman Foundation. 

The Westerman Foundation Grant

The continuation of our piloted Magnetic Reading Program has been made possible through a generous grant from The Westerman Foundation. Once again, we are blessed by the generosity of this foundation and all that they do for our school, students, and community.

St. Patrick Catholic School Faculty received in-service in August and were introduced to the Coalition to Support Grieving Students. This is an online resource for school personnel to help support students that have experienced the loss of a parent, sibling, or other beloved person. After receiving this in-service, New York Life graciously granted our school $500. This generous contribution will be used for sensory items within the classrooms.

Westerman Foundation Grant Supported STEAM Projects

St. Patrick Catholic School First Graders were hard at work using collaboration skills and team work to build bridges with materials purchased through the Westerman Foundation Grant. Great results!

Westerman Foundation Grant

The Westerman Foundation Grant has provided all students (Kindergarten - 5th Grade) with new headphones. Students were excited to get these new headphones for use during Kansas State Assessment, within the classroom on a daily basis for noise cancelling and when working on computers, as well as being able to create new exciting projects with the inline microphones.
