April 17 School Notes

Reading Club K-2 will END on Friday, April 24.

Afterschool Reading Club K-2 is M-F 3:10-4:00PM from April 17-24.  Thank you, Mrs. Janae Palet!

Reading Club 3-6 will resume on April 17 – May 15.

Breakfast Reading Club 3-6 is on Tuesday mornings 7:15-7:50AM on April 21, April 28, May 5 and May 12.

Afterschool Reading Club 3-6 is M-F 3:10-4:00PM from April 17-May15. 

Adult readers welcome to volunteer!  Please donate snacks.

Mid-America Music Festival 3-6 Entry Moved to 2016

Grades 3-6 will NOT participate in the Mid-America Music Festival in Pittsburg tomorrow, April 18. 

We are preparing to participate in 2016.

2015 St. Patrick Carnival on Sunday, April 19

All students, families, teachers and staff are expected to be present and to help out during our annual Carnival. 

Holy Mass is at 10:00 AM.  With everyone taking a shift to help in the class game booth or the PTO ticket booth, we will have another successful and fun carnival.  We need everyone to donate to the Cake Walk so we have enough baked products for this favorite activity.  The Grades 5-6 families are asked to plan on helping with take down and clean up between 2-3PM.  Thank you for supporting our school and our PTO fundraisers.  Thank you to all volunteers, vendors participating and Altar Society for lunch.

Grades 3-6 Earth Day in Parsons on April 21

Grades 3-6 will participate in the annual Earth Day celebration in Parsons.  The activities are from 9:15AM-2:00PM. 

Class Pictures on April 22

Total Image will take all class pictures on April 22.  Please make sure that your child is present.  Preschool students do not have school uniforms and may wear appropriate clothes for school pictures.  K-6 students will wear complete school uniform and need to plan on wearing green uniform shirts.  Gr. 6 may wear their navy uniform shirts. The Pastor and the Principal will join the teachers and students in the pictorial which will take place in the classrooms.

Please Return the Express 2015-2016 Pre-Registration Forms

The pre-filled forms were sent home on April 1.  Please contact the school office if you need another form. 

Kindly take time to return the forms so we can plan staffing, schedules and book purchases.

Circus of the Kids on Thursday, April 30

Preschool 3-4, Kinder – Grade 6 students will go to the teaser performance of the Circus of the Kids at Royster Middle School on Thursday, April 30, 10:00 AM.  The students will have the opportunity to view the chills, thrills, and stunts performed live by RMS students.  The cost is $3 per child.  Permission Slips will be sent home soon.
